Mengler Family Wines was founded in 2014 with a focus on producing vineyard designated, unique and exclusive wines for the purpose of creating memorable wine enjoyment experiences. Our signature wine, Rita’s Block, named for my wife, is grown on a 3/4 acre block of land in the Russian River Valley. Family and friends do almost all the work throughout the year on this block from pruning, trimming and leafing all the way to harvesting the grapes by hand in the darkness of night. We then make the wine on site and around one week or so after harvest this elegant red field blend is ready for barrel aging in all American Oak.

We use the same principles for all the rest of our winemaking and make only Sonoma County grown wines aged in American oak. Our continual search for interesting wines is focused on the enjoyment of the wine drinker and we hope you enjoy all we have to offer. Remember to take the time to enjoy family and wine!
